The American Chameleon (Anolis carolinensis) is a reptile with a bony protrusion on the top of the head called a casque, which channels water droplets into its mouth. From early April to late September is the breeding season for the American chameleon. The eggs produced are 0.49 inches x 0.37 inches on average.
